Tom Horan Tom has established himself as a sought after talent in the Southeast United States, and brings over 22 years of media experience to the Western North Carolina area. Before Tom brought "Speaking of Golf" to the Carolina's, he hosted TV shows, such as “Let’s Talk Golf” in Orlando, Florida; as well as, radio shows, such as “Speaking of Golf with Tom Horan” and “Golf Your Way”, for the Phil Ritson Golf Institute at Orange County National (home of the PGA Tour Qualifying School). Tom has developed long standing relationships with several sections of The PGA of America as well as numerous golf manufacturers in the United States. He has developed an excellent rapport with several of today’s top money winners on the PGA Tour, The Champions Tour and The LPGA Tour. In addition to his media experience, Tom has also served as Director of Marketing for the East Central Chapter of the North Florida Section of the PGA, President of the Tour Caddies Association Worldwide and the Men’s Golf Commissioner for the Orlando Area Sports Commission. |

Chris Cates Chris Cates was known more for his rock n' roll golf comedy album "Triple Bogey with 17 Holes to Play" and his other music albums before joining the "Speaking of Golf" team. Chris, a hardcore golf nut who sneaks out to play golf at any opportunity, has an intense love for the game which began while growing up on the famed Donald Ross course Mimosa Hills Country Club in Morganton, NC. Cates produces artists and performs all over the world when he's not talking golf, trying to play to his 3 handicap or when he's not helping wife Adair with their multi-media self development business Synergy Shift. Chris is rapidly becoming sought after entertainment for golfing events and enjoys spreading his passion for golf with Tom and the crew.

Adair Cates Adair Cates is a dynamic motivational speaker and author of the book "Live With Intention: Ten Steps to Living the Life of Your Dreams". Adair, like Chris, also grew up in the shadows of Billy Joe Patton at Mimosa Hills taking lessons from famed pro Joe Cheves. Adair, a UNC Journalism School grad, brings a different perspective to "Speaking of Golf" and loves impacting the world in her own positive way. When Adair is not speaking for corporate or community events you can find her on the links practicing her silky smooth golf swing.

Mrs. Speaking of Golf The lovely Mrs. Speaking of Golf, aka, Sonja was born and raised in the upstate New York area. She graduated from the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City, spent some time at the Jersey shore, then headed south to Orlando, Florida. While living in Orlando she has worked in advertising, marketing and even done some TV commercials. Sonja says she got hooked on golf when she appeared in a PGA Tour commercial with Sergio Garcia. But it was Tom who “hooked” Sonja and swept her off her feet. Shortly after their wedding, Tom convinced her to leave Orlando behind and move to the Asheville area in 2004.
